NO TO ETS AND
CARBON TAX
Cyclic climate change
is a geological fact. To attribute it to human activity is a mere hypothesis
rejected by many reputable scientists, and has been discredited.
Common sense is indeed needed in response to a new tide of enviromania.

question of those seeking to assuage public concerns over climate change:
If Australia cut its carbon emissions to zero, what effect would it have on climate
change?
The honest answer is none ... So why do something economically damaging when it will have
no affect on the problem?"

motivation is also evident on the home front. Julia Gillard's alliance with the Greens has
made pushing
this agenda manditory, and has led to her breaking a pre-election promise of
rejecting a carbon tax.
Establishing a committee on a premise that ETS is unquestioningly required is an act
of arrogance.
Such legislation would produce a huge economic disaster, and severely impact the
lives of all Australians.
Moreover it has its roots in a eugenics movement, which ultimately produced genocide
under the Nazi regime.
A modern version is to decimate world population to "save the planet".
Prof Peter Singer of Princeton University, who, to our shame,
is an Australian, portrays humans as evil polluters of the environment, making animal life
more valuable than human life.
Carbon dioxide is an essential component of the process
of photosynthesis, whereby CO2 is eliminated,
by being combined with water to produce
carbohydrates, the fundamental food source of all living things.
The rejection of an ETS Bill prior to the Copenhagen Summit was made
possible by the Liberal Party's selection
of Tony Abbott as Leader of the Opposition. He warned of a tax bill of up to
$400 billion under a leaked draft deal. Furthermore the scandal of climategate clearly
exposed anthropogenic global warming as a fraud.
Kevin Rudd lost credibility by doing a political U-turn.
Our representatives were deluged by emails from grassroots
Australians, opposing the Bill.
Now that a sense of outrage on this important issue has fallen
into an abyss of apathy,
the threat has again raised its ugly head.
