The Nature and source of human rights
An ability to distinguish between
truth and falsehood, good and evil, justice and injustice,
is endemic in the human person,and is perceptible to human reason.
A strikingly similar sense of morality, which cuts across cultures and religions, is
evident.
Any definition of "rights" must be based on what is right and just.
A "right to do wrong" is a contradiction both in terms and in fact.
Human rights are
inalienable
Government is not the source of rights,
which are intrinsic and inalienable.
If rights were conferred by the State, the State could take them away, hence they would
not be inalienable.
"We hold these truths to be
self-evident, that all men are created equal,
that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights,
that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness"

The United Nations
Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948)
The Declaration was accepted as an
international standard, and is still citged as such, despite relentless, and largely
successful pressure, to effect changes at local, national and international level
(including the UN itself and the EU)
These changes constitute a violation
of the rights themselves.
Here is the text of that
important document
Everyone has the right to life,
liberty and security of person (Article 3)
Abortion and euthanasia
to be considered as rights
Men and women of full age, without any
limitation due to race, nationality or religion,
have the right to marry and to found a family.
"Marriage" being
redefined to mean a union of two persons of the same sex, whereby there can be
no possibility of founding a natural family.
The family is the natural and fundamental
group unit of society
and is entitled to protection by society and the State. (Article 16)
The family no longer considered
to be natural or fundamental,
and is undergoing continual attack with a view to securing its dissolution.
Motherhood and childhood are entitled to special
care and assistance.
All children, whether born in or out of wedlock, shall enjoy the same social
protection (Article 25)
Motherhood and childhood are
stripped of protection, care or assistance,
as exemplified by widespread unrestricted abortion, deprivation of children of parental
protection,
and, in some cases, deprived of a right to a mother and a father.
NOTE: The
UN Declaration of the Rights of the Child (1959) states:
"Whereas the child, by
reason of his physical and mental immaturity, needs special safeguards and care, including
appropriate legal protection, before as well as after birth ...
Mankind owes to the child the best it has to give"
The pre-born child is
considered "not to be a person", and is described in most abominable terms,
such as a "parasite", a "tumor" and so on, and is robbed of legal
protection through all nine months
of pregnancy for any reason. There are those who persistently and relentlessly seek to
impose a
so-called "right to abortion" internationally. Such attempts occur within the UN
itself.
In all areas of life the welfare
of the child is coming to be universally subordinated to the desires of individual adults.
The child is stripped of a right to a mother and a father, and of a right to know his or
her own biological parents,
to appease the arrogant demands of a very small minority. The "gay" lobby
constitutes only a minor part
of those who experience same-sex attraction, most of whom appreciate a right to privacy.
To play an
adult game of make-believe, children are demanded to serve as toys.
How can humanity have become
so desensitised as to condone such gross abuse,
masquerading as "rights"? This has taken place in a space of fifty years.
Everyone has the right to freedom of thought,
conscience and religion
This right includes ... freedom, either alone or in community with others and in
public or private,
to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance (Article
18)
Religious freedom violated, and
religious expression in public forbidden
Attempts to replace freedom of
religion with "freedom of worship", such as exists in Commuinist China.
Permissable to attend church, but no other religious rights. All religious expression or
practice outside
the church building prohibited.
Conscience rights violated
Members of the medical
profession to be compelled to participate in abortion and euthanasia.
So-called rights of "sexual
diversity", which go much further than same-sex "marriage"
These
pseudo-rights must always override
any claim to freedom of conscience.
Acceptance of forms of "diversity", which, in the not-too-far-distant future, may
include paedophilia, to be enforced.
Parents have a prior right to
choose the kind of education that shall be given to their children (Article 26)
Compulsory
indoctrination in homosexuality from earliest childhood
in places where same-sex "marriage" has been legalised.
Demands of a "right to
comprehensive sex education" in violation of parental rights.
Parents have no idea of how "comprehensive" it is. Namely teaching sexual
activity from kindergarten up,
which includes every possible form of depravity.
Group rights and
"gender diversity"
An understanding of human
rights has been based on the rights of every individual person on a basis of equality.
More recently, however, a concept of group rights has been introduced. According
to this perception, a few specified
minority groups, perceived as being in need of protection, have been assigned a privileged
status, not accorded to others. In theory the purpose of this is to safeguard rights of
authentic disadvantaged groups.
In practice, however, ideologically motivated lobbyists have been aggressively working to
confer these privileges
on politically motivated groups, whose agenda is at variance with genuine rights of the
majority.
Foremost among these groups
are those calling for "sexual diversity rights"
According to this hypothesis, there are a variety of "genders", no longer
considered as two only, male and female, as demonstrated by biological science. A theory of "gender mainstreaming"
has been debated in the United Nations.
These various "genders" have been classified as homosexual, bisexual, and transexual.
"Diversity" does not stop there, however, being extended to include a wide range
of sexual depravity.
There have already been suggestions that paedophilia be added to a list
of such diversities, in need of being
"protected from discrimination". Age of consent is being systematically lowered,
to protect pedophiles from
being charged with this horrendous crime, and have their condition labelled as
"sexual orientation"

"In order that these people need not live in fear, because of who they are".
Is this line of thinking also to be applied to compulsive killers?
Potential victims live in fear because of what these people do.
The consequences
are mind-boggling!
Such trasvesty of justice was associated with a debate on "hate-speech
legislation"
Those who "discriminate" against "sexual diversity" are considered to
be motivated by hate.
Such
legislation has been in place in Canada for some time
Morality and Religion
Moral principles, which religion enjoins, are
perceived by lobbyists to constitute an obstacle to imposing
such agendas. Hence religion, especially Christianity, is targeted for elimination.
Religious expression is
to besilenced, in violation of a right of freedom of speech. The next step could be criminalisation of Christianity.
The Australian Human rights
Commission
The Australian Human Rights Commission is an unelected bureaucracy,
receiving government funding
to the tune of millions of dollars annually. In common with "Human Rights"
Commissions internationally,
Its
agenda is blatantly political, being obsessed with "sexual diversity"
The AHRC has declared that freedom of religion is NOT a right
and further insists that "rights and religion are like oil and water -- they don't mix
